4.2.06 -- 10:02 p.m. -- What a busy month of March. Big changes in my life and the way I think about things. Changes in relationships, in lifestyles, and in the way I think. The most important lesson I have learned over the last month is the importance of family and freinds. They have no intent other than to do whats best for you. Mom, Dad, Sis, Relatives, and friends, I love you back.

Moving to a less serious note... last month I attended the minneapolis car show, attended many sessions of Beer and Pizza, Tripped to SCSU, and continued furthering my education at the University of Minnesota. My parents took a trip to Mexico and I am extremely jealous now that I have seen the pictures. The weather has continued to get nicer and nicer. Temps up in the 55+ area this week.

Here are the top ten reasons, in list format, of why I am excited for warm weather.

    1. Washing my car on hot sunny days.
    2. Throwing the football around Lake Como with Mudman and Nate.
    3. Driving with the windows down.
    4. Beer brats, burgers, cheese dogs and steak, with salt.
    5. The beach.
    6. Beers are that much better in hot weather.
    7. The links.
    8. Watching my sister play softball/watching my mother coach.
    9. Waterfights and outdoor shananigans with my little cousins.
    10. Last but not least, fishing with my Grandpa.

Last update I failed to give any specs on the new car so ...here is a weak attempt. The 170 HP Turbocharged engine gets between 26-30 mpg on its 12 gallon tank. The The four cylinder engine can go from 0-60 in a tortoise-like 6.8 seconds but the performance brakes and light build make it really fun to drive. I am going to take it into the shop this weekend because there seems to be no horn. And to think, I thought those came standard.

While I am publicly ranting about my life... if anyone has a question or feels that they need to know anything, you should definately contact me for an answer. There really isn't anything I can't answer or at least pretend to know the answer to. Here is a question asked by E. Cook:

"Do you think that ordering fruity drinks at bars makes a man less of a man?"

Answer #1 [The stereotypical man answer]: Hell yes it does. You don't see Clint Eastwood prance up to the bar and ask them for The Ultimate June Bug. Nothing but a tall icy cold one for dirty harry. If a guy orders anything otherwise, he should make sure to use the bathroom with the stick figure in the skirt.

Answer #2 [My answer with just a hint of estrogen]: Nawwww, I myself have ordered the strawberry margarita from Applebees. It is delicious. There are plenty of drinks that are just built for tanning on the beach. So go ahead John Smith, order up a pina colada and hold your head high. I do.

So this weekend, Nate I went up to St. Cloud State University to visit Cole. It was a helluva good time. Nate and I left on Friday night and after an hour or so we managed to find his apartment. It was a nice bachelor pad and it is really close to the campus. We began the night by taking down a case of MGD at the Rachels.

Sidenote: The Rachels were two girls who lived across from Colemans apartment. Both fun, ex-mtka, and beautiful.

We then continued on to Taco Bell for a Grande Meal. I need not say how delicious that was. After that we did some beer bongs and I left the apartment drunk. We went into MC's for the infamous Hairy Buffalo, [three different types of alcohol with a splash of some fruit something] and that was straight death. When I left MC's I was lit. We then proceeded to the red carpet where we danced with lots of classy st. cloud womens. There was also a live band that was playing some sick Kelly Clarkson covers. I don't really remember too much detail from there on. I know we went back to cole's place after that where I stole Nate's sleeping bag and passed out, but thats really it.

In the morning I was so hung over it was not enjoyable. We went to Perkins where I completely dominated thier toilet, had a tremendous tweleve, and a bit of thick chocolatey muffin that even cole woudln't eat. We left the cloud nine at about noon. One choco taco, one caribou vanilla cooler, and a few carmel nips later we were home. The pictures from this St. Cloud adventure can be found here.

Some things that I need to talk about just to make sure that everyone knows about:

Beer and Pizza wednesdays at The American sports bar in Falcon Hieghts. All the beer and pizza you can muster between the hours of 4:30-7:00. 'Nuff said.

After 9:00 p.m. -- Applebees has dollar beers and half price appetizers. It doesn't get much better.

Big Ten Tuesdays -- Natural Ice pitchers for $1.50, yes.

Tuesday night Sallys burgers for like dirt cheap.

In closing some shout outs to the people I love:

Beedub: Thanks for getting my six on SCSU trip. I don't know if I could have taken it by storm without you.

Dirt: I need you back in the cities, now. I miss you Danny, please, come back for R. Tuck or Upchurch or Jakari dubya.

Emilyc: What would I do without you? Miss out on 2:00 p.m. Sundays?

Shitz: Thanks again for SCSU and our money. I didn't think I would ever see it again but once again, you continue to raise the bar.
