Hello. Welcome to douggoonDOTcom. All about Doug Goon. This site is pretty worthless, not going to lie. Hopefully you will get at least something from this site and if not, I apologize for wasting valueble time out of your day. To start out, Doug Goon is just
a simple man, with simple needs. Doug Goon was a very eligible and disease free bachelor, and now he is simply disease free. Doug Goon has a wonderful family that he is truly greatful for. Last but not least, Doug Goon has friends that he cherishes
for every single detail and flaw that they have which sounds cliche, but in fact is the truth. But enough about Doug Goon, lets talk a bit about me.

6.25.07 -- 8:50 p.m. -- Yes, I realize that dg.com has been neglected, terribly. As much as I would like
to tell you it won't happen again, it probably will. In my defense, things have been a little hectic. The
catch-up-from-the-last-two-months-recap-list is as follows:
Emily and I have moved in together. Big step, I know this.
Emily had PRK refractive vision surgery
Emily turned 22. She's officially all growns up.
Hammo bachelor party fiesta
Josh and Rachel got married! It was quite the wedding.[pictures will be up soon]
I sold my car, finally. [now I have to buy one]
Alicia had mono, followed by some mouth ulcers disease, topped off with a dash of pneumonia. Yuck. But she was tough
all the way through it and now shes already back on the softball field! :0
I have been knee deep in la idioma de espanol por cinqo semanas! Tres mas!
I had one of the best memorial day weekends ever with Dan & Doriii and the Don & Pam.
I am really glad my sister is healthy again. First summer home from college being stuck inside a hospital is def' not
fun. There has also been much golf playing this summmer. With almost ten rounds under the old belt one would think
I should be getting quite good at the game however, the bogey and double bogey holes are a nice reminder that I have
quite a bit to go before I reach Tiger status. Emily however, is a different story. After she just took up the game
the end of last season, she really has improved. Pretty soon, we will be taking the couples golf scene by storm.
This summer, I have been landscaping up a storm. If the grass hasn't been dry, it's been long. It's been struggle.
The house, in general, is looking good. Here is a little taste of my talents:
School has been brutal, to say the least. From anothers perspective, I would simply say, "tough it out, it's only eight
weeks, four days a week, two hours a day". I would tend to agree with them, if it were just that. But working full time,
moving in with Em, selling my car, and whole bunch of other crap, it is exhausting and then some. Almost done, almost
graduated, so close, ugh.
Hammo's bachelor party was actually a really good time. Besides the fact that Dave scheduled the go-karts way out in
bum-no-where, the karts really hauled ass. I think my top speed was 35mph, which is the fastest I've even been [only
inches off the ground]. The Misty Harbor was the showstopper. For those unfamiliar, The Harbor is owned and operated by
Captian Coleman Schelitzche. We brought out a bunch of boooze, subway party sub, and fishing rods for a day of just plain
old guy stuff. A recharging of the old masculinity batteries.
After that we went back to one-dub-oh-five more booze, and
then to the bar. By this time, Pat [who was shotgunning beers by early evening] was nearly finished. None-the-less, we
charged out there and represented Hammer-time-99 style. Shots, LITs and many-a-women later, we had a late night Burrito
courtesy of Burrito Loco. For those not in the know, there is little better than a gigantic burrito at 1:00 a.m. both
for your stomach and for your health in general. The boys crashed at my place and the night turned out to be a great
success. It was great to hang out with Pat and Aune as well, I miss those guys and we always have a good time.
Heres a shout-out to three very eligible and disease free bachelors. Ladies, eat your hearts out:
We spent this last weekend with weddings and in EauC for some D and D fun. Cleaned and waxed up the Saab [since she'll
be our primary mode of transportation for the next week or two] went out to an amazing Chinese Buffet [Salmon, Cheese
Puffs, Potstickers, Egg Rolls, Shrimps, soft serve ice cream OCB style, and much much more. It was delicious. Everytime
we trip it to EauC D and D always treat and are constantly serving delicious food. There is no better place to eat than
La casa del D n' D. Thank you thank you thank you.
Tonight we had a fish fry and the Longs. I haven't had fish for almost a year and it never tasted so good. The filets
battered in Kentucky Kernel simply can't be beaten. Gramps even let me swipe the leftovers and some extra bass.
Delish.
In close, I will be updating again very shortly. Expect more pics, tal vez un coche nuevo, house pics, wedding pics,
and even more entertaining writings courtesy of yours truly.
