Hello. Welcome to douggoonDOTcom. All about Doug Goon. This site is pretty worthless, not going to lie. Hopefully you will get at least something from this site and if not, I apologize for wasting valueble time out of your day. To start out, Doug Goon is just a simple man, with simple needs. Doug Goon was a very eligible and disease free bachelor, and now he is simply disease free. Doug Goon has a wonderful family that he is truly greatful for. Last but not least, Doug Goon has friends that he cherishes for every single detail and flaw that they have which sounds cliche, but in fact is the truth. But enough about Doug Goon, lets talk a bit about me.

8.22.07 -- 8:23 p.m. -- Back to the once a month... or every couple months, update :)

What to discuss since last. Well went to Wisconsin Dells, those pictures are up and... yea, this is officially the first update since I have graduated and completed my collegiate career. That is correct, I am now certified as a college grad. I can hardly believe it myself honestly, what to do with all my newfound time, the next chapter in my life, and ?

Tough questions aside, I was overdue for a summer vacation and ended up heading up to Mille Lacs last weekend for a little family fun getaway. Emily and I tripped it up to Elk River on Saturday and began the vacation with a little Perkins breakfast/brunch.

After rendezvous'ing with the rest of the Goon fam we headed up to Mille Lacs for one of the best Mille Lacs vacations ever. By "best vacations ever" I don't mean it was a superfun really neato experience. I really mean, it was the best time I have ever had up there. Why, you ask? Here is a little list on how we maxxxxxed out on fun:

    - Kareoke at the Military Service Association bar, and Jack's On Mille Lacs. This includes Bon Jovi, Garth Brooks, and even a little Big and Rich.

    - All the best food I could ever dream of. [salmon fetticini, hamburgers, chip dip, cookie bars, etc..]

    - Golfing The Sanctuary and Black Brook despite non-sunny weather.

    - Spending lots of QT with the fam [family beer pong, cribbachee, casino, and more]

    - Taking the STI out on the country roads with Dad [60mph around 25mph turns, for the STI... pancakes]

    - Having Emily there, as part of the family, love ya darlin.

That being said, the Izaty's pics are up. Enjoy. More updates to come with all my new found free time. I promise :)

P.S. Emily and I got a dog. Tater. A Bichon Frise. He is such a happy pup, and really makes me smile with his goofy Einstein face.
