Hello. Welcome to douggoonDOTcom. All about Doug Goon. That is me. I am, Doug Goon. Moving on, please induldge yourself in my half assed writing attempts, my subpar website layout, and my novice [moving toward amateur] photography. Feel free to post a question in the ask section, or even just pop in to remind me how unreliable I and terribly infrequent I am updating the site. But seriously, enough about Doug Goon, lets talk a bit about me.

10.06.09 -- 11:38 p.m. "Oh hello, welcome to International Inn. How many of there are you for my wooms?" First things first. All that dont' frequent mmoDOTcom, please do so. There is much rich content to be had and as the outdoorsmen season approaches, it's only going to get bettar!

Speaking of MMO.com, yours truly is now armed. I acquired my 'permit to purchase' from the city of Burnsville and am now in possession of both a brand new handgun and long gun. The hardware, you ask? A Springfield Armory XD Sub-Compact 9mm and a Remington 870 Express 28". The 9mm is hands down one of the sexiest things i've ever grasped [next to my lovely bride of course (thanks sis)]. It fits nice and neatly in the palm of my hand, amazing craftsmanship, and did I mention it's gorgeous? The 870 express is your typical 12 gauge, old reliable, they call it. Cole has an 870, so does Pat, and even the sales clerk was raving about "America's favorite shotgun." Check out the pics here:

Shot my first reception last month. Boy, I didn't know what I was in for. My speedlight 430EXII was COOKING the whole night. I probably fired that flash more throughout that evening than I have in the year that I've owned it. So far, I am pleased with the pics. Of course, if I had known then, what I know now, I'd have a better understanding on where to be and what to do. Thats why practice makes perfect ladies and gents. Gallery here:

So yea, Emily and I bought a house. It is an awesome house. I never dreamed I would own such a nice piece of property especially as my first house. American Depression FTW [jokes]. Tater seems to love it, Princess Pie has tons of new hiding spots and much more carpet to tear up with her claws. Now, all three cars get to sleep soundly in a attached garage. We have a walk-out patio door to a deck. Hot tubbing can be had at will. Thus far, I love being a homeowner. [p.s. thanks again to those who helped. Adam, Cole, Dave, Roeb, Kamakazi, Pat, Hammo, Aune, and Sister squat. Parents Goon and Parents Cook, I coudln't have done it with out you either, much obliged and much love] House pics:

Congratulations are in order to both Chris Segerstrom and Cole Segerstrom. Each married this summer and both to absolutely beautiful, fun loving, awesome women. You guys really hit the jackpot. Both weddings were tons of fun, good food, good drink, and good times. I took a few pics here and there. Cole and Bridg & Chris and Paige.

Uhhh yea, 4th of July . . . that was pretty much forever ago. But the pictures never made it up here so . . . here they are:

Last weekend, tripped it down to Red Wing for Anthony and Andy's wedding. Emiy and I met up there with Laura, Nate, Don, and Lisa. The wedding was really awesome. They had delicious appetizers [some bbq chickens on a stick] and my filet minion was so soft and scrumptious [just thinking about it my mouth is watering as I type this]. Post meal, they had a coffee bar with some chocolate shavings, cool whip, brown sugar cubes and coffee of the Starbucks octane level. Thanks for the invite guys and Congrats you two! My favorite blond sister put up some pics of the wedding hurre.

Football season is under way and my what a season it has been only four weeks in! With Brett Barrrrrrr leading the Vikes, this may be their year. The Pack are off to a shakey start but, its a marathon, not a sprint. A-Rodg looks good, if his O-line could protect him for more than 1.246 seconds, he could probably throw for even more than 384yds. My fantasy team is looking good. With a 2-2 start, they are just startin to come around. Emily is 3-1 but that could all change once the Icy Hot Stuntaz heat up [we're too hot to freeze]:

"Love peace and chicken grease."
